The ANC: A Vision for a Democratic Togo
In a land ruled by fear and authoritarianism, the Alliance Nationale pour le Changement (ANC) stands as a beacon of hope.
More than just an opposition party, the ANC represents the voice of millions of Togolese yearning for
a nation governed by justice, dignity, and accountability.
As an active member and supporter, I — Komlan Eyram Mensah Dossou
— have witnessed firsthand the courage, the ideas, and the leadership that the ANC brings.
Despite arrests, intimidation, and attempts to silence our movement, the ANC continues to organize,
educate, and inspire.
The party’s platform is clear and powerful:
Constitutional reform to limit presidential mandates.
Free and fair elections overseen by truly independent institutions.
Decentralization to give more power to local communities.
Transparent governance with zero tolerance for corruption.
Social justice, including access to education and healthcare for all.
What sets the ANC apart is not only its commitment to democracy, but its consistent non-violent approach.
In a country where protestors are treated as enemies, the ANC teaches civic engagement and peaceful resistance.
Critics claim the ANC is weak because it hasn’t seized power.
But I say strength is measured not by what you take, but by what you stand for. And the ANC has stood for truth —
against all odds — for over a decade.
We don’t need another dictator. We need visionaries. And the ANC is filled with them —
men and women from every region of Togo, committed to building a new republic.
I joined the ANC because I believe in that future. I believe we can have a Togo where every child can dream,
every youth can vote, and no mother has to bury her son because he asked for change.
We may not have the guns, but we have the people. And the people will rise.
